It depends on how large the bald spots are and how many grafts can be harvested and transplanted. Generally, you will have the perfect final result after hair transplantation. Care should be taken not to take blood thinners for ten days prior to the hair transplant procedure. You will also receive more information about this from our experts during the initial consultation. It is quite sufficient if they would go to one of our contact points in Germany.

It is important that you sleep on your back with the neck pillow we give you for the first five days after the procedure. After the procedure, alcohol must be avoided for 1 week. Over-exertion, such as sexual intercourse, is taboo for the first 14 days after the procedure. Beach, swimming pool, solarium and sauna are prohibited for at least one month. Direct sunlight should also be avoided in the first month. The more protected and adhered to the rules, the more perfect the end result.

The transplanted grafts must first heal completely and develop properly. This process can take up to five months. During this period, the existing hairs will fall out and grow again.

As a rule, transplanted hair is expected to fall out in the first two to six months – don’t panic! This is quite normal. The transplanted hairs go through different cycles, which last for different lengths of time. In total, these stages last about six months.

Two different modern methods of hair transplantation are used at Bank Of Hair. The first is the FUE method and the second is the DHI method.

We advise that if you want to combine the stay with a short vacation, to do it before the hair transplantation, because it is important to rest after the procedure.
